Where are you from, and why did you decide to attend the Herbert College of Agriculture<\/a> at the University of Tennessee?<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

College was never the plan while growing up on my family\u2019s farm in Watertown, Tennessee. My whole life, I had it in my mind that I would never leave our cattle and row-crop operation. I was set in the mindset that this was it and that I could continue growing the business. As senior year approached, University of Tennessee alumni encouraged me to be more open to the idea of college and urged me to attend a UT football game, tour the main campus, and visit the agriculture campus. I was blown away. I was inspired by the atmosphere, love, and passion for the university that I witnessed that weekend, and in that moment, I knew I wanted to be a Tennessee Volunteer.<\/p>\n\n\n
