The following information from the University of Tennessee Institute of Agriculture, as well as other organizations across the state and country, are provided to assist individuals, families, and producers who have been impacted by a flood event.

The UTIA Flood Recovery Initiative team is hosting a field day August 20, 2025 on a producer’s farm in Limestone, Tennessee. The event provides updates on Hurricane Helene recovery work in the northeast Tennessee counties devastated by the storm’s intense flooding. Learn more about the team, as well as a federal grant that is supporting research on flood impacts on croplands.
Organizations throughout the East Tennessee and Western North Carolina areas are accepting monetary donations for those impacted by Hurricane Helene. Financial contributions to recognized disaster relief organizations are the fastest, most flexible and most effective method of donating.
