Culmination of capstone design sequence. Intensive design experience on project chosen and approved in 401. Analysis, construction, testing, evaluation, and reporting required. Periodic oral and written reports and submission of design to external engineering design competition or display required.

CSAS 270 - Behavior of Construction Materials

Study of materials used in highway and building construction. This study will include materials associated with soils, concrete (reinforced and unreinforced), asphalt, steel, and timber. Lecture and lab will include the introduction of the physical properties with related industry standards.
