Overview

Serves as Chief Business Officer at the UT Institute of Agriculture. Mr. Fawver was initially hired as the Institute’s Accountant in January 1989. In September 2000, Mr. Fawver was assigned the Chief Business Officer duties and given the title of Chief Business Officer in 2008. Mr. Fawver is a Certified Public Accountant with a permit to practice in the State of Tennessee. Prior to joining the UT Institute of Agriculture, Mr. Fawver served as an Auditor with TVA and The State of Tennessee for a combined five years. Mr. Fawver graduated the University of Tennessee Knoxville with Bachelor of Science High Honors degree with a major in Accounting. Mr. Fawver is a descendant of over eight generations of farmers and currently is a part-time farmer of a century farm. Both his Mother and his paternal Grandmother were successful small business owners. Mr. Fawver is a first generation College graduate. In 2018, Mr. Fawver was voted a license to preach and to date he has written and delivered over fifty sermons.
