Carmen Merolle
Carmen Merolle graduated from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville in May 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in wildlife health. She has worked in the UTIA Amphibian Disease Lab for three years and is co-leading experiments testing the efficacy of plant-derived fungicides at inactivating Bsal in the environment and treating Bsal-infected salamanders. She has worked in the UTIA Center for Wildlife Health assisting with histological trimming and embedding. Carmen is interested in exotic mammals and plans to continue working in wildlife disease research post-graduation.
