Alison Hopper
Hello, my name is Alison Hopper and I am a 4-H Program Assistant in Rutherford County. I am new to the Central Region but have known Extension in the Western Region for many years. I participated in 4-H in West Tennessee and got my Bachelor's degree in Animal Science from The University of Tennessee at Martin. Along with my background in 4-H, I studied equine and small ruminant sciences and also enjoy working with horses and livestock. I have fond memories of my time spent in 4-H and have always wanted to have a career in extension. I find joy in teaching Tennessee youth the life skills that I was taught and being able to share their excitement and enthusiasm is one of the main points of my job that I love.
