Dr. Aisa graduated from the University of Barcelona, Spain, in 1999. He undertook a rotating internship at Davies Veterinary Specialists, United Kingdom, and completed his residency in Small Animal Surgery at University College Dublin, Ireland, in 2014. He is a registered European Veterinary Specialist in Small Animal Surgery (ECVS, 2016). His academic career has included clinical teaching positions at the Veterinary Teaching Hospitals of University College Dublin and University of Glasgow, United Kingdom. His special interests include surgical oncology and surgical education.
