Kristen Graas is a graduate research assistant at the Smith Center. In this position she assists the Farmer-to-Farmer program through social media communication. Here she communicates with our overseas counterparts to help tell their stories and the volunteers' experiences.

Kristen received her B.S. in Biology with a concentration in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She also earned a minor in Advertising and Public Relations. She aims to bring these two paths together to work with science communication programs in the future. She is currently pursuing a M.S. in Agriculture, Leadership, Education, and Communications.
