Overview

Kelsey is from Knoxville, Tennessee and graduated from the University of Tennessee in 2022 with her bachelor’s degree in sustainability with minors in sustainable landscape design and international agriculture + natural resources. During her undergraduate studies, Kelsey discovered a passion for landscape architecture, realizing it as a field where she could blend systems thinking and environmental stewardship with creative problem-solving. 


Currently, Kelsey is pursuing a master’s degree in landscape architecture at the University of Tennessee. She recognizes her experiences as a part of the living systems design group as an invaluable part of her education and has enjoyed participating in projects ranging from launching floating treatment wetlands to planting green roof test plots.
