Maci Heffelfinger serves as the Assistant Director of Communications and Marketing for the Herbert College of Agriculture, leading the college's communications and marketing strategy and efforts. She earned her bachelor's degree in communications - public relations at Messiah College and her master's in organizational development and leadership - higher education at Shippensburg University. During her time at Shippensburg, she worked as their communications and marketing graduate assistant for two years.

After finishing her master's program, Maci was hired as Waybetter Marketing's CRM & Campaign Coordinator, helping colleges and universities across the country boost enrollment by optimizing their Slate instances via various marketing strategies and by improving their technical infrastructure.

Maci excels in integrated marketing communications, where her primary role involves unifying the Herbert College of Agriculture's brand across all media, ensuring consistency, building credibility, and increasing presence to internal and external stakeholders. Her strengths are in PR writing, email marketing, web content creation, user experience, and project management. Maci provides oversight of areas concerning college newsletters, email campaigns, social media, websites, print and digital ads, magazine articles, news stories, and more.
