Overview

I joined the Entomology and Plant Pathology Department in March of 1984 and assumed responsibility for our Pesticide Safety and Education Program (PSEP) in July of 2011. The Pesticide Safety and Education Program in Tennessee is a statewide educational program with an overall goal to protect the environment and the public health from improper use of pesticides by providing applicator and public education. We provide training and information to people, certified and non-certified pesticide applicators of all kinds, as well as farmworkers, and the general public.​​​
