Blair Frances Wermuth

Graduate Research Assistant | Animal Science
Overview

Hello! I am originally from Verona, Wisconsin, and received my BSc in Animal Science (with an emphasis on both companion and meat animals) from the University of Wisconsin - River Falls in 2021. I then traveled to Scotland in order to attend the University of Edinburgh's Applied Animal Behaviour and Animal Welfare MSc course. I obtained my degree in 2023, with my master's thesis being on the investigation of how outdoor allowance for companion cats can impact welfare. Here at UTK, I am excited to now be focusing on how environmental management techniques can affect the welfare of dairy calves.
