Kyra Petty

Extension Agent I | Meigs County
Overview

My name is Kyra Petty and my love for 4-H started back in the fourth grade like many others and just kept evolving over the years! I mainly participated in the horse project, but was also a part of Honor Club, was an All-Star, and was blessed to be recognized at Vol State as well. Upon graduation, I attended The University of Tennessee at Martin where I obtained a B.S. in Family and Consumer Science with a concentration in Child and Family Studies and a Minor in Psychology. I was also a student athlete at the university as a part of the NCAA Division 1 Equestrian team during my time as an undergraduate student. I am currently continuing my education in the Education graduate program at UTM. Of the many things I love and appreciate about 4-H, I am so thankful for how it has prepared me for this career. I feel blessed and eager to be able to give back to Tennessee 4-H through Meigs County and the Eastern Region.
