Amelia Sturgill
My background is in Elementary Education and Instructional Leadership. 4-H has always been a big part of my life both as a 4-Her and more recently as an adult volunteer. I have seen the impact of 4-H in my life, the lives of my children, and the lives of my students over the almost 30 years I spent as a teacher in rural Tennessee. I love that 4-H focuses on helping our young people develop citizenship, leadership, and life skills that will help them for the rest of their lives. I am excited to work with the youth in Scott County and the Eastern Region to help them gain these skills that are so important in becoming capable, responsible and compassionate adults!
