Dodd Sledge
Dr. Dodd Sledge was named Director of the Diagnostic Laboratory Services at the UT College of Veterinary Medicine in December, 2025. Before joining the college, he was a diagnostic anatomic pathologist and Section Chief of Anatomic Pathology at Michigan State University Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory. Throughout his career, Dr. Sledge has worked in diagnostics within an academic setting as a veterinary pathologist, and he has extensive experience as a supervisor and leader in a veterinary diagnostic laboratory setting. He has established recognized expertise in ocular pathology, oncopathology, and pathology of production animals; participated in preclinical and clinical teaching of veterinary students; has been successful as a primary researcher and collaborator; and has been heavily involved in stakeholder outreach and collaboration with state and federal agencies.
Provide clients and stakeholders with reliable, accurate, and consistent results for the testing done at the Diagnostic Laboratories.
