Dr. Bailey grew up in the East Tennessee area and obtained a trifecta of degrees from the University of Tennessee. Her career began in teaching composition and literature at several colleges and universities in the East Tennessee area before transitioning to science editing at the College of Veterinary Medicine in 2006. She held onto her love for all things teaching and learning, and transitioned into the role of Curriculum and Assessment Coordinator in 2016. Her professional interests include student evaluations of teaching, survey methodology, and international outreach.
