Overview

Margeaux Emery contributes to the UT Institute of Agriculture's employee communications and communications with alumni, donors, ag stakeholders and other external publics. She provides direction to the institute's flagship magazine, Land, Life and Science, and writes about the Real. Life. Solutions our faculty, students, and staff achieve for other publications, as well. Emery learned firsthand about Tennessee agriculture while living in each of the state's three grand divisions. Her background includes time in radio and television news; corporate communications for a Fortune Top 25 service company; and study of narrative nonfiction with Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Jacqui Banaszynski. Emery is a professional-level member of the National Association of Science Writers and is active in AppSciComm, the alliance of Appalachian science communicators.
