Overview

Dr. Chen completed his veterinary training (DVM) at the University of Tennessee (class of 2009). He continued his clinical training with a small animal medicine and surgery internship and comparative ophthalmology residency at Colorado State University. Before returning to UT, he was in private practice in California for 5 years and has practiced in other parts of the country and internationally. Dr. Chen's clinical interests encompass all aspects of clinical ophthalmology, and he's pleased to be returning to his alma mater to educate and serve the community that brought him up.
