David Bilderback
David has dedicated 17 years to serving as a Farm Management Specialist with The University of Tennessee Extension, working through the MANAGE program. Based in Loudon County, David extends his expertise to farmers and rural business owners across a broad region, including Anderson, Blount, Bradley, Hamilton, Knox, McMinn, Meigs, Monroe, Morgan, Polk, Rhea, Roane, and Scott counties.
Having grown up on a family dairy farm in Sweetwater, Tennessee, David has been immersed in agriculture from an early age. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics and Business and a Master of Science in Agricultural Economics with a concentration in Agribusiness, both from The University of Tennessee.
In his role, David engages directly with farm families, offering confidential whole-farm planning and financial analyses through the MANAGE program. This initiative is designed to guide farm families in evaluating their financial situations, developing plans for family living expenses, and enhancing their overall quality of life. Through this program, David helps farm families assess their management strategies and explore various farming and financial alternatives, ultimately aiming to improve their long-term sustainability and well-being.
