Beth Hall Davis serves as an editor and writer in the Office of Marketing and Communications at UTIA. She edits Extension publications, newsletters, marketing materials, and other Institute projects. She is also responsible for writing the team's quarterly newsletter and regularly contributes to Land, Life and Science magazine.
Davis enjoys writing and collaborating with Extension faculty on News You Can Use articles, which give Tennesseans helpful information for their lives. From installing a rain garden to parenting advice for dealing with social media to budgeting for the holidays, delivering content that impacts lives is always a highlight for her.
A Tennessee native, Davis has been with Marketing and Communications since 2017 and has almost ten years of experience working for the University. Davis previously worked abroad, teaching English to Somali refugees in Kenya for two years. A published author, she enjoys quilting and spending time with her family.
