An introduction to the major, culture, and expectations of Animal Science. Discussion of student success, responsibilities, opportunities for internship, study abroad, undergraduate research, and other career development within Animal Science. Students must complete ANSC 100 with a grade of C or better to remain in the major of Animal Science.

Registration Restriction(s): Restricted to animal science majors only.

ANSC 471 - Peer Mentoring

Peer mentor for students associated with ANSC activities. Peer Mentors will be responsible for leading peer group discussions regarding engagement, study, advising, research, internships, and careers. Peer Mentors operate under the supervision of the instructor. 

Repeatability: May be repeated. Maximum 3 hours.
