Megan Bruch Leffew has more than 22 years of experience as an extension specialist in value-added agriculture marketing. She provides leadership to the CPA’s programs in value-added marketing fundamentals; agritourism; and direct meat marketing for beef, pork, lamb, goat and non-amenable specialist. During her Extension career thus far, Megan has developed more than 214 Extension publications and fact sheets and provided instruction for more than 19,000 participants in 650 workshops and educational programs. She has led or contributed to 34 grant projects totaling more than $3 million in funding. She has received numerous awards including the 2025 UTIA Cavender Award for Extension Publication, the Extension Risk Management Education’s 2021 Outstanding Project Award for the Southern Region and the National Association of County Agricultural Agents’ Distinguished Service Award.
Megan is a native of Yuma, Colorado and was raised on a commercial cow/calf operation. She earned a M.S. degree in agricultural economics with an emphasis in marketing and a B.S. degree in agricultural business and animal science-industry from Colorado State University. She now resides in Columbia, Tennessee with her husband, John, and children, Clara and Kyle.
