Overview

As a Blount County 4-H Agent, Amy Berger works to provide high-quality 4-H Youth Development programs to youth in grades 4-12. She works with the 4-H Horse Project group, along with outstanding volunteer leaders, to provide equine education to the youth, including preparing for Hippology and Horse Bowl events, Horse Judging events, Horse Communications events, and Horse Shows. Amy strives to provide excellent leadership opportunities to youth through encouraging youth to become more involved and stay involved in various 4-H programs, including 4-H Honor Club and 4-H All Stars. She also oversees the 4-H Health Rocks! program in Blount County, where youth learn important life skills including critical thinking, stress management, effective communication, and critical analysis of media and other messages. Amy also partners with the other Blount County 4-H Agent to deliver in-school and after school programs, activities, and events.
