Overview

Dr. McKeever is a former small and exotic animal clinician and currently a clinical instructor in anatomic pathology at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. He attended the University of Tennessee as an undergraduate and completed his veterinary education and anatomic pathology residency at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. He is a lifelong Volunteer. He is passionate about teaching veterinary students and bridging gaps between pathologists and clinicians. His special interests are nonmammal and special sense pathology.

Research Focus

Spontaneous disease of nonmammals, zoo, and wildlife species; spontaneous ophthalmic and otic pathology

Clinical Focus

r. McKeever serves as a diagnostic pathologist on the biopsy and necropsy services.

Teaching Focus

Microanatomy and Physiology (eye), General Pathology, Multispecies Medicine, Advanced Ophthalmic Pathology; fourth year pathology rotations
