Overview

Dr. Kimberly Anderson graduated from Purdue University in 2012. She then completed a small animal rotating internship at the University of Missouri followed by a specialty internship in Neurology at Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists in Houston, Texas. Dr. Anderson then completed a residency in Neurology and Neurosurgery at Texas A&M University. Prior to veterinary school, Dr. Anderson obtained a Ph.D. in Immunology at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. Her areas of interest are neuroinflamation, degenerative diseases, and neuroimaging.

Clinical training in the diagnosis and treatment of medical and surgical diseases of the nervous system in small animals.

VMP 895 - Feline Medicine Elective
1 credit hour(s)

Elective covers aspects of feline medicine to a greater degree than is presented in the core curriculum. Topics vary but usually include internal medicine (infectious disease, endocrine disorders, respiratory disease, etc), cardiology, ophthalmology, nutrition, dermatology, analgesia and anesthesia, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, oncology, and diagnostic imaging, as well as special considerations of exotic felids.

Grading Restriction: Satisfactory/No Credit grading only.
Registration Restriction(s): Veterinary Medicine Students only.
