I am happy to say I have been with UT Extension Wayne County since February 1, 2000 as Administrative Support Assistant II. My responsibilities are all administrative assistant needs related to Agriculture and Natural Resources, Family and Consumer Science, and 4-H Youth Development programs for UT Extension Wayne County. As the administrative support assistant in Wayne County, I am the initial contact for clientele coming into our office and those who telephone our office, provide information from UT Extension, perform clerical and bookkeeping functions, maintain the Wayne County Extension web page, the Wayne County Extension Facebook page, and help with the execution of Extension activities and events. This position primarily helps in conducting ANR, FCS, and 4-H youth programs for the county along with administrative assistant support for all county extension staff. Help keep the public informed of and give help needed in the areas of Extension programs.
