Carla Y Bush

As a UT Extension Region Program Leader, Carla Bush is responsible for planning, developing, implementing, evaluating, and reporting on county and region Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS) programs in the 31 counties of the Central Region. In partnership with the Agriculture and Natural Resources and 4-H Youth Development Program Leaders, she provides programmatic leadership and support for identified priority programs consistent with county, state, and national priorities. In cooperation with leadership teams and specialists, she recommends, coordinates, plans, conducts and evaluates in-service training for Extension professionals. She has 30 years of experience with The University of Tennessee Extension, working in rural and urban counties as a Family and Consumer Sciences Agent before receiving this leadership role in 2020.
