Application of statistics to interpretation of biological research. Notation, descriptive statistics, probability, distributions, confidence intervals, t- and chi-square tests. Analysis of variance, mean separation procedures, and linear regression and correlation. Credit Restriction: Students may not receive credit for both PLSC 461 and PLSC 561.
(RE) Prerequisite(s) : MATH 125 or MATH 152.
