Specialization: IT Solutions Specialist
Tammy McKinley serves as an IT solutions specialist with UTIA Information Technology Services. She provides leadership in the area of web and application development within the ITS team and in collaboration with teams across the Institute.
McKinley manages projects from creation of websites for departments or new Extension programs to the building of the Institute's new internal portal, myUTIA. She provides direct support to the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics and UT Extension's Agriculture, Natural Resources and Community Economic Development program areas.
McKinley earned both her bachelor's and master's degrees in agricultural economics from the now Herbert College of Agriculture. She started her career with UT Extension in 1998 working in the area of livestock economics. She moved to her current role in ITS in 2017. Away from work, she enjoys quilting, running, and spending time with her family.
