Kaysie Elizabeth Adkins

Extension Agent I | Sevier County

Specialization: Community Health Nutrition & Food Safety Creative & Design

Overview

Hello! My name is Kaysie Adkins. I am originally from Salvisa, Kentucky. I recently graduated from Carson Newman University with a Bachelor’s degree in Family and Consumer Sciences Education. This is where I was able to obtain my teaching license for grades 6th through 12th. My passion for FCS started in middle school after learning to sew a pillow by hand and use an oven by myself. The field of FCS has taught me how to use practical life skills to grow as an individual to make a difference in my community. Through this job, as an FCS Extension Agent, it is my goal to pass on my experience and new skills to make an impact on our community’s future.
