Maci Heffelfinger
Maci Heffelfinger serves as the Communications and Employer Relations Coordinator for the Herbert College of Agriculture. She earned her bachelor's degree in communications - public relations at Messiah College and her master's in organizational development and leadership - higher education at Shippensburg University. During her time at Shippensburg, she worked as their communications and marketing graduate assistant for two years.
After finishing her master's program, Maci was hired as Waybetter Marketing's CRM & Campaign Coordinator, helping colleges and universities across the country boost enrollment by optimizing their Slate instances via various marketing strategies and improving their technical infrastructure.
Maci excels in integrated marketing communications, meaning her primary role involves unifying the Herbert College of Agriculture's brand across all media, ensuring consistency, building credibility, and increasing presence to internal and external stakeholders. Her strengths are in PR writing, email marketing, web content creation, user experience, and project management. In telling Herbert's story, her goal is to not only make the college attractive to prospective students and employers, but to reflect its credibility and make it a community that current students, faculty, and staff are proud to be a part of.
