Kortni Blalock joined the Center for Profitable Agriculture in July 2025 as an extension specialist with a focus on enterprise management. She earned her bachelor’s degree in agricultural and environmental systems from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in May 2023. In May 2025, she graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a master’s degree in agricultural and resource economics. She now joins UT Extension and the CPA team in Columbia, Tennessee. She provides information and resources to farmers with concerns about business licenses, sales tax regulations, meat processing, and management assessments for new and continuing value-added enterprises.
