Kylie Piper, LCSW
Kylie Piper is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a member of the Veterinary Social Work team at the University of Tennessee. Originally from North Carolina, she pursued her undergraduate and graduate education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies in 2016 and her Master of Social Work degree in 2020. Upon earning her master’s degree, Kylie moved to Knoxville and gained valuable experience while working as a clinical social worker in community mental health and private practice.
Kylie is currently working towards her postgraduate Veterinary Social Work certificate, and her interests include animal-related grief and bereavement, animal-assisted interventions, animal-related treatment and quality of life decisions, and suicide prevention within animal-related professions.
