Samson Humphrey

Graduate Research Assistant, Phd Student | Plant Sciences
Overview

I study plant physiology using controlled environments (growth chambers and greenhouses). I'm passionate about understanding the biochemical responses of plants to their environments, with a goal of manipulating these plant responses to benefit farmers and consumers.

My current work is on culinary herbs, where I am applying supplemental lighting treatments to improve herb growth, shelf life, and quality compounds (for flavor and aroma).

Please send me an email, I enjoy connecting with new people!
