Dr. Alessandra Franchini is a graduate of the University of Parma, Italy, and completed her residency and PhD at Virginia Polytech Institute. Her research interests include 3-dimensional echocardiographic analysis. Outside of work, she enjoys puzzles (13,200 pieces maximum to date), collecting Legos and baking and cooking, although she admits that isn’t very original for an Italian.
