With expertise in Deep Learning, Robotics, and Big Data Analytics, I am passionate about using technology on animal welfare challenges. By focusing on broiler welfare and biosystems, we develop technology based solutions that promote sustainability and enhance farm management practices.

Research Focus

My research area is focused on enhancing individual broiler welfare level through understanding and predicting their daily mobility in a farm. We utilize Deep Learning methods to monitor the mobility indicators and provide insight for farm managers.

Research Questions
  • How to monitor broiler welfare indicators correctly through Information Communication Technology applications?
  • Can robots replace broiler farm managers in doing certain welfare and management related tasks?
