Katie started working for the School of Natural Resources in August 2022. She handles communications needs within the School including recording video, taking photographs, writing press releases, posting on social media and monitoring the School website.

She previously worked at WBIR Channel 10 News in Knoxville for seven years and at WKPT in Kingsport for two years. At both stations, she worked as a live television news producer.
