Overview

Nadia Harris joined UTIA’s Marketing and Communications team as a graphic designer in June 2022. Harris received her education from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) with a BFA in motion design, a double minor in performing arts and art history, and an MA in advertising. Prior to joining UTIA, she worked as a designer and motion graphics artist with the United States Department of Veteran’s Affairs and Sibling Rivalry while doing freelance design work for local communities in Tennessee. Harris’s passion for creating compelling content that challenges perspectives and has a positive impact on the world is what led her to join UTIA’s family. She enjoys working on event projects and contributes to many design deliverables that serve clients across UTIA. Among other creative pursuits, Harris is also an actor, classical pianists, singer, writer, and improviser. She is bilingual in English and Spanish and is currently learning Korean. Her leisure hobbies find her watching movies or YouTube videos (ASMR, K-pop sensation BTS, Buzzfeed Unsolved), reading, endlessly listening to music, and planning real or imaginary futures on Pinterest.
