Terrell Davis
We like to say that Dyer Co is Tennessee's window to the world! Dyer Co is home to two loading ports on the Mississippi River, where over 70% of Tennessee's grain is shipped to export markets. I have the pleasure of working with row crop, livestock, and forage producers in Dyer Co. I was raised on a farm in Southwest Arkansas focusing on beef cattle, forage, and poultry production. I spent 8 years serving as an Ag teacher and 5 years as a School Counselor, before beginning my Extension career in 2015. I have conducted research demonstrations on Imported Fire Ant Control in Pastures, Bermuda Stem Maggot Control, Feral Hog Control, Bermuda Variety Trials, and Variety Trials in Corn, Soybean, Cotton, and Wheat. I also hold a Part 107 Remote Pilot License from the FAA and use it to scout crops, assist in emergency situations, and assist farmers to locate missing livestock.
