Morgan Owens
Specialization: Volunteer Coordinator
Morgan Owens serves as the program manager for volunteer recruitment on the Farmer-to-Farmer (F2F) ALOFT project. Owens is excited to connect agriculture and natural resource professionals with volunteer opportunities in Southeast Asia.
She earned her bachelor’s at Texas A&M University, and then worked and studied at a language center in North Africa for two years. While living abroad Owens developed a love for travel and cross-cultural living. She believes that every person should experience life outside their home culture to develop a global perspective. Upon returning to the US, she began teaching high school science in Texas where she developed a passion for education and helping students. Owens served as the Smith Center's administrative specialist from 2022 to 2023.
