Dr. Martha Mallicote joined UTCVM in August, 2026. Integration and application of theoretical material using case- or problem-based approaches toward creating knowledge frameworks for patient care, including the complex relationships that result from the human-animal bond. Emphasis on building effective teams, case management, student-centered learning, and self-discovery of new information. Includes review of simulated clinical skills and preparation for clinical placements.
