Guthrie Jones graduated from Science Hill in 2025 and joined the University of Tennessee Tree Improvement Program in the spring of 2026.  Currently, he is a student at Northeast State Community College, where he is pursuing degrees in Entertainment Technology and Digital Media.

In his role with the UT-TIP, Guthrie contributes his creative skills to the development of videos and graphic content that support social media engagement and broader outreach efforts. His work helps communicate the program’s mission and connect audiences with the importance of forest conservation and restoration. Through this experience, Guthrie is building a strong foundation in visual storytelling and science communication, which aligns with his career goal of using media and design to make environmental issues more accessible and engaging to the public.
