Overview

Melissa serves as the 4-H Region Program Leader for the Central Region. She works with 4-H professionals in 31 counties to provide programmatic training and support for county level programs. Through collaborations with Agent lead teams and the region Extension Area Specialist, she is responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating region 4-H activities and events. As part of the Central Region team, she works with the Agriculture and Natural Resources Program Leader and Family and Consumer Sciences Program Leader to provide onboarding training to new employees. In cooperation with state specialists, Melissa works to recommend, coordinate, and conduct in-service trainings for Extension Professionals.
