Overview

Michele was born in Africa. At the age of nine, Michele�s family immigrated to the United States. She obtained a degree in applied science from Thomas Edison State College. She ended up working for a medical insurance company for a couple of years, before starting a position at a veterinary practice. There Michele fell in love with veterinary medicine and pursued a veterinary technician degree at Camden County College. Michele has been an oncology technician at UTCVM for 9 years now. She feels the best part of her job is the client contact and client communication. �I love the fact that I get to form a bond with the owners and their pets during the time that they are here receiving treatments,� Michele says when asked what is the best part of her job. In her free time, Michele volunteers with her church and local charities. Michele and her 9 year old shepherd, June, participate in H.A.B.I.T volunteering at Brakebill Nursing Home. She also enjoys gardening.
