April Massengill is a member of the UT Institute of Agriculture Marketing and Communications team where she serves as an editor and writer.

Massengill helps bring to life a variety of print and digital projects across the Institute. In addition to editing and writing, she helps revise and maintain the UTIA Editorial Guide, serves as a marketing liaison to the Department of Plant Sciences, and chairs the UTIA Cavender Awards Committee, which recognizes outstanding Extension publications. She also helps maintain the Extension publications database.

Massengill’s background includes health care marketing and agency work. She is an alumna of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Away from work, she enjoys spending time with her family.
