Overview

As the Family and Consumer Sciences Extension Agent for Moore County, I plan and implement educational programs to benefit families to help them improve their lives. Educational opportunities are offered through classes and workshops, Family and Community Education Clubs, social media, written publications, and personal consultations. We also work through partnerships with local agencies such as the Senior Citizens Center, Moore County Family Resource Center, Moore County Board of Education, Moore County Chamber of Commerce and more.

Teaching Focus

Programs focus on Well Being in Families in Moore County. Programs include Co-Parenting, Matter of Balance, Money Matters, Second Act, Seasonal Eating, Adult and Youth Cooking Classes, and Food Preservation.
