Carrera Romanini

Overview

Carrera Romanini joined the Smith Center in 2022 as our post-doctoral program manager. In this position she leads the Smith Global Leadership Fellows program. This initiative provides professional development for UTIA faculty with the goal of enhancing their international engagement and preparing them to be global champions.

Previously, Romanini worked in research administration, where she managed interdisciplinary teams across the Institute. She holds a doctorate in Higher Education Administration and a master’s degree in Agriculture and Extension Education from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Romanini completed her bachelor’s degree in communication studies at Northwestern University. She has been a UT employee in various roles since 2008.
