Derek Vanderhoff, LVT, is from upstate New York and is a 2011 graduate of Alfred State College in Alfred, New York with an A.S. in Veterinary Technology. Derek is a 2012 graduate of our very own Veterinary Technician Internship Program here at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. Derek decided to stay on at Tennessee and accepted a position as an ICU technician. Derek has a special interest in animal behavior, and also enjoys dog training. When not at work he loves to hike and do anything outdoors. He also likes to cook, play video games, and likes to try local restaurants.
