Background
Jayme Ozburn grew up in Middle Tennessee with roots deep into the dairy industry. He completed his B.S. in Animal Science at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and a M.S. in Animal Science.
Teaching
Through his role as a Lecturer, he assists incoming freshmen and tranfer students in adapting to life on campus at the University of Tennessee by introducing them to career professionals and campus resources. He also teaches students the value in evaluating dairy cattle and how it can open the doors to new career paths and opportunities.
Extension
As an Extension Assistant, Jayme works with Dairy Youth programming including assisting with the State Dairy Show, 4-H Roundup, Dairy Quiz Bowl, and other dairy activities. He has also hosted a Dairy Camp for dairy youth from across the southeast.
